Building Resilience: A Decade of Trusted Expertise

After gaining more than 15 years of international experience, we returned home to the West of Ireland. The reality was clear—there were few opportunities suited to our level of expertise. So, we decided to create them. Over a decade ago, we founded Carrig Consulting in the Northwest of Ireland, built on one simple principle: deliver exceptional results through deep industry knowledge.

Our team of seasoned consultants—each with 15+ years of specialist experience—has earned a strong reputation supporting SMEs and public sector clients across procurement, programme management, and banking advisory services. Our consultants bring experience from organisations such as Uisce Éireann, EirGrid, NAMA, Anglo/IBRC, KPMG, KBC, and PTSB.

Throughout the 2010s, Carrig Consulting grew steadily, securing major government procurement contracts and executing complex loan book sales for financial institutions during Ireland’s post-crisis recovery. Our expertise has guided clients through regulatory complexity, streamlined tender processes, and delivered measurable results.

Then came COVID-19. Like many businesses, we faced unprecedented challenges—projects paused, procurement cycles slowed, and uncertainty became the norm. Yet our collective experience proved invaluable. We adapted quickly, embracing change and identifying new opportunities where others saw obstacles. Despite the turbulence, we emerged stronger—and by 2023 had secured another significant government contract.

Today, we continue to grow with renewed focus. Our decade-long track record, combined with the resilience forged through challenges, uniquely positions us to help clients meet today’s complex demands. We understand resilience because we’ve lived it—and that lived experience shapes every solution we deliver.
